Year 10 Linnean Society Art Trip
22 Bow boys went on an extracurricular trip to the Linnean society which holds the largest collection of insects in Europe. The trip was linked to their current project, textures and surfaces, and enabled them to explore and discover different species of insects. The students created a series of observational drawings from real bugs cast in resin using magnifying glasses and a variety of art materials. Overall the trip was a huge success, the boys produced fantastic art work and behaviour was exemplary.
