Year 12 King’s College Visit
Year 12 Into University Visit to King’s College, Tuesday 4th April 2017
Before breaking up for the Easter holidays, the whole of Year 12 went on a trip to King’s College Waterloo campus.
Students spent the first part of the day working in teams to discuss and present on the different types of university locations in the UK, giving them the opportunity to think about the ideal university location for them. They then had a tour of the university and the opportunity to speak to a current King’s student, originally from Tower Hamlets.
In the afternoon, students got the chance to question the organisers from Into University, who talked about their own university experiences and gave advice on applications, university life and preparing for ‘A’ levels.
Both Ms Ambler and Ms Eldrid were really impressed with the students’ engagement and the sensible questions that they asked about preparing for university.
