Year 8 Boy's Hockey Team win Tower Hamlets U13s Hockey Championships!!
On Monday 18th April, our Year 7 and 8 boys Hockey Team competed in the U13s Tower Hamlets Hockey Championships. The Year 7 team did well to fight off some opposition, but were unsuccessful as the competition continued between 7 other teams. Our Year 8 team played brilliantly through to the semi-finals, having to go through extra time to win against Morpeth.
The finals saw last year’s Champions, Stepney Green, against our Bow boys – a match which was so tough it had to go through to extra time again! Shaeaim Ahmed managed to assist our top goal scorer Jamiul Rashid to score the Golden Goal in the 3rd minute!! We are U13s HOCKEY CHAMPIONS!
Well done to Jamiul Rashid, Nazim Rahman, Azizul Hoque, Jonnell Marquis-Melius, Sarwar Chowdhury, Younes Aberkane, Shaeaim Ahmed and Mahir Uddin; you’ve made us all very proud!
