Year 9 Careers In Theatre Day
On Friday 12th October 2018, Half Moon Theatre held a “Careers in Theatre” day for aspiring dramatists to experience working in a theatre. Professional practitioners from TV, film and theatre led workshops in their chosen production area which ranged from acting, lighting, sound, set design, marketing and stage management.
Year 9 students from Bow School worked collaboratively with students from St Paul’s Trust School and the London Enterprise Academy to create a moving piece of theatre that explored the effects of cyber bullying on young people.
All students were exemplary in attitude, enthusiasm and commitment.
This experience certainly provided a taste of the world of production and performance, a symbiosis of drama in its entirety.
