Young Historians

At Bow School, we are incredibly lucky to have such a diverse and broad curriculum, with Ancient History offered on the GCSE and A Level syllabus. Within the curriculum, we place great value on the impact of guest speaker events, and as such, we warmly welcomed Professor Paul Cartledge, A.G. Leventis Professor of Greek Culture emeritus, University of Cambridge to Bow, for a session with Sixth Former students, joined by the GCSE cohort. Paul delivered a mini lecture on Ancient Greece and Democracy, the talk was refreshing, valuable and inspirational, with students taking away interesting insights. He even signed copies of his latest book!
