Yr6 Transition Event
Friday 4th July was a day of celebration not only all across America but in Bow School as well! Our new intake of Yr6 students, who will be the first to start their secondary education at our new school on Twelvetrees Crescent, arrived at the school to get a sense of what ‘big’ school feels like.
All 180 students had an exciting day of lessons and recreation, taking part in Handball lessons on the rooftop MUGAs, using Bunsen burners in Science, creating key rings in DT and experiencing our fantastic Music area, to name just a few of the day’s activities.
Another reason to celebrate was the inclusion of our first ever group of girls – they were a delight to have around and were welcomed by the whole school community as they marked the beginning of the new look Bow School.
Friday was a really successful day, our new students were a joy to meet and I look forward to seeing them all on the 2nd September when they start Year 7 at Bow School.
