OLI KARGER SCORES AT BOW WITH YEAR 7 ACCELERATED READERS!

As a reward for the progress they made in the first term of the ACCELERATED READER SCHEME 30 year 7 students got to participate in a FOOTBALL COACHING SESSION with PROFESSIONAL COACH OLI KARGER.

The session should have been part of the Dan Freedman author visit but, at the last minute, it had to be rescheduled and the students had to wait a whole month to get a shot at it.

At last their patience was well rewarded and they spent a thoroughly enjoyable hour learning some new skills and working on some old ones.

They not only practised their ball skills but also their listening skills as some of the instructions were quite complicated!

At the end of the session the general verdict was ‘BRILLIANT!’ and ‘LET’S DO IT AGAIN!’

So maybe we will...although those students will have to work extra hard to be included next time as they are now many others making great progress too!
