SLAMbassadors at Bow School!
On Monday and Tuesday – 21st and 22nd of May, 20 Year 7 students worked with a professional spoken word artist, PACE, from SLAMbassadors - part of the Poetry Society, UK , to create and perform their own poems and raps. The first day was spent on free writing of poems around the theme of Identity and perfecting it. On the second day, students performed their poems and raps. This was videoed and will soon be uploaded to the Poetry Society’s You Tube page. The students worked incredibly hard and enjoyed every minute of it. Their performance was astounding. Can’t wait to watch it on You Tube!
