Student Voice

Student council is the channel for student voice and aims to promote leadership across the school. Being a leader might come naturally for some, but every leader learns a thing or two along the way. We support the development of young leaders and so last month student council representatives received bespoke training focussing on how to plan projects over the coming six months. Grouped in year teams councillors are working on a number of projects ranging from extra-curricular activities to redesigning the student council constitution. Year 10 continue with our work on advocacy and charity preparing for Comic Relief next month whilst Year 7 are planning the ‘You Decide Campaign’- the big vote on how to spend the student council budget.

Change can be lead from all members of the school community. Each individual voice creates the wider change.
