Students visit to Ypres

On Friday 5th 24th February a group of boys from years 7-9 visited the First World War battlefields around Ypres in Belgium.  The boys were given the chance to see where men fought and died during one of the events that has shaped the modern world.  They visited the sites where men from London – Christian and Muslim – fought alongside one another.  The boys also visited the largest British and Commonwealth cemetery in the world and took part in a memorial service at the Menin Gate in the evening.
