Transition
Making the transition from primary to secondary school can be daunting, but we know that the quicker students adjust to their new surroundings, the sooner they will be able to achieve their potential.
To welcome our new Year 7s, and to ensure that their transition from primary to secondary is a successful one, we have our unique transition programme that starts the moment your child is offered a place at Bow School, to ensure all pupils feel supported in their transition process and that it goes as smoothly as possible.
Historically, our highly regarded Friendship Afternoon takes place shortly after secondary allocation, allowing pupils and families the opportunity to visit Bow School as soon as they have been offered a place. However, Tower Hamlets is a close-knit community, and we understand that many families will be observing Ramadan at this time and would be unable to attend our annual Friendship Afternoon, if it took place at its usual times. As such, we have curated a number of onsite and offsite opportunities for parents to find out more information, and look forward to welcoming pupils onsite in early May,
