Year 8 London School of Economics visit

A collaboration between London School of Economics, Bow School and IntoUniversity saw 25 Year 8 students one step closer in their preparation for University.

 The Buddy Programme aims to pair up students with under-graduate students at prestigious universities to give the school students a firsthand experience of university life.

Students from Bow School worked with IntoUniversity at their St Stephens St Centre for a day before visiting LSE and meeting their 'buddy'. Whilst at LSE students toured the university site including a special tour of the 4th Flour Restaurant courtesy of manager Lesley Causley. The 2 day programme culminated in a trading game where groups had to compete against one another to buy and sell stocks and commodities to make the most profit.
